This growing opioid pandemic hit home for our family in 2019 when our son Garrett Kennedy lost his battle with addiction. He was in recovery and fighting this disease when on the night of August 20th he got a pill that was labeled as a prescription pill but was actually 100% fentanyl. This fake/falsely labeled pill took his life.

We have chosen to be a voice for others who deal with this disease and raise awareness through our love of music. Music has given us so much joy and light after such heartache. We started an annual camping/music event called Rockin the Perky in 2019 located at Cabin Craft Outdoor Adventures in Spring Mount PA. This is an outdoor music & Camping event with the sole purpose of bringing Family, Friends and everyone together and help shed some light on this terrible disease and horrible epidemic of fentanyl poisoning. Fighting Demons collects donations for other chosen charities who specialize in overall Addiction awareness, Fentanyl poisoning, and Family Support. Recent organizations like Shatterproof and Song for Charlie are great examples of where your donations go to.
